  • Increase pupils’ participation in green spaces activities – all pupils take part in the outdoor curriculum as part of their timetabled week.
  • Encourage pupils to take on leadership or volunteer roles that support sport and physical activity within the school – school prefects, responsibility on the farm as they progress through Giltech, supporting others at break and lunch.
  • Embed physical activity into the school day through active playgrounds, outdoor learning opportunities and active teaching – different activities available at break and lunch, frequent trips with outdoor emphasis, Giltech curriculum embedded.
