I am Jo Murphy, Family Liaison Officer and Deputy Safeguarding Lead at Gilbrook School. My role here at Gilbrook is varied:

• I chair TAF (Team Around the Family) meetings, supporting our families through tricky times, sign posting services and liaising with appropriate agencies.

• On Tuesday mornings from 9:15am - 11am, I run our Parent/Carer's Group. Anyone is welcome to attend. We talk, problem solve and share ideas and behaviour strategies, whilst we have a cuppa!

• I am the Attendance Officer, I look at our attendance figures on a weekly basis. If you are struggling to get your child into school, please contact me and we will work with you to support you and your child.

• I run interventions with our children; Bereavement, Anger Management, Emotional Intelligence, Self-Esteem, Inappropriate Language and more.

• I can help you with form filling, benefits, housing etc, so please get in touch with the school office and ask for me if you need support with anything.
